

INTERNATIONAL
BIOFUEL STUDIES TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIP
WHO CAN APPLY: Undergraduate and graduate students of any
FIU program. The scholarship
supports students international travel and field studies
(for a duration of 2 weeks and longer) related to the development
of biofuel energy programs (technology, production, distribution,
economics, policy, etc.) in specificcountries. A minimum GPA of
2.7 is required. Up to $3,500 is available per student.
COUNTRIES: Latin America, Caribbean region, and South
and Southeast Asia.
PREFERENCES: Students of Agroecology Certificates program.
APPLICATION: Interested students must send written inquiries
to Dr. Bhat. Please include your
transcript and a letter of recommendation. Full application packet
due December 31st, 2008. Before you apply, please discuss your
project idea with one of the following Project Directors:
