Agroecology Scholarship at FIU

Several scholarships are available for students wanting to do their thesis or independent study on an
agroecology related topic!

Open to students in any FIU academic program.
Up to $2,000 available per graduate student to support field research and/or travel.
Minority students are preferred.
Students applying must have a 3.0 GPA or better.
Student will be required to work on research topics ranging from field-level agroecological practices to landscape-level modeling of land-use and water regime changes, precision farming, urban-rural dynamics, and agricultural policies.
Selected candidates are required to submit a report after completion of their study and make a presentation at the annual agroecology workshop at FIU.

THE SPRING DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION IS FEBRURY 5TH, 2007

Students can apply by submitting a one-page research or study proposal, budget, and their career goals.
Please attach a resume, FIU transcript, and a letter of recommendation from your major advisor to your application. Applications should be sent to the address below:
