Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences at Florida International University ( MANRRS at FIU) is the Agroecology student club for graduate and undergraduate students at FIU. We are currently the sole local chapter of Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences. National affiliation allows us to travel to and be exposed to agricultural issues in other regions of the country, network with student and professional colleagues, and interview at annual job and graduate school fairs hosted by MANRRS. We've attended the last two fairs held in Birmingham, Alabama and Denver, Colorado and intend to field students at this year's fair planned for Indianapolis, Indiana in March 2009.

Local fairs and conferences Agroecology and MANRRS students have attended include the Environmental Ethics Conference at UM, the Miami International Agricultural and Cattle Show at Tropical Park and the Homestead Ag Fair at the County Fair Grounds.
