Neya Charles

Personal Background: I lived in the Caribbean island of Antigua for most of my life. Then I moved to South Florida. What got me interested in Agro-ecology is the fact that no matter where you go; the importance of agriculture remains the same. In addition to this, living in and traveling throughout the Caribbean gave me a first hand experience of the significance of agriculture and how it affects a country’s economy.

Interests: I am interested in the economic and the policy aspect of agriculture. I am also interested in soil conservation methods and water management. I would like to conduct research on integrated soil fertility management and how it can be use to increase food production efficiently.
